GMAT Exam Pattern:

The GMAT Exam is out of a score of 800. A score of above 700 implies distinction. The exam pattern for the GMAT exam is as follows-

Writing section asks for expressing thoughts on a particular topic in a written form and the duration for this section is 30 minutes.
The Integrated Reasoning section consists of 12 questions and the duration is again 30 minutes for this section too.
Quantitative reasoning earlier comprised of 37 questions but now, this section has 31 questions, need to be resolved in a duration of 62 minutes.
Verbal Reasoning comprises of 36 questions and gives 65 Minutes duration to complete it.

An update was made in the year 2012 when the Integrated Reasoning section is added in the GMAT exam.
